The team booster club, Friends of Brookline High School Hockey (FOBHSH), operates as a separate fund within Brookline Youth Hockey who sponsors us, as such we are a 501(c)3 non-profit. FoBHSH raises funds year-round to subsidize the cost of the BHS team. Funds raised by FOBHSH are used to provide, among other things, practice ice, low-cost team apparel and bags, financial assistance for players in need, stipends for volunteer coaches, and the end-of-the-season awards and banquet. All parents of players in the Brookline High School Boys Ice Hockey Program are automatically members of FOBHSH and are encouraged to be involved. There are many dedicated parents already volunteering time to run events such as the Golf Tournament and Calendar Raffle - but we can use more help - especially help with finding sponsors for the tournament!
The FOBHSH Advisory Board for the 2018-2019 season is Dan Gottlieb (treasurer), Lily Yung, Zander Packard, Ron Vish, Pete Friedman, and John O'Brien.
